Beautiful books, an attractive plant or other eye-catching personal belongings look great in a hip presentation rack in your home. This Scandinavian presentation rack is perfect for showing off your nicest stuff. You can make it yourself in eight easy steps:
  1. Step 1: Measure two times the length of 150cm and mark it off top and bottom at 15º.

  2. Step 2: Fix a plank in a clamp parallel to this line, taking account of the sawing width of the multi-material saw. Saw off and sand gently.
  3. Step 3: Measure three times the length of 50cm, saw off three planks and sand gently.
  4. Step 4: Mark off drill holes on both short sides of the three planks at a distance of 5cm left and 5cm right. Lay the long planks you will use for the sides flat and measure 25cm, 65cm and 105cm from the top. Mark off drill holes 5cm from the left and right sides at these three heights.
  5. Step 5: Drill the holes in the long planks down to a depth of 1cm. To do this, use the depth stop on your drill. Now drill the holes in the short planks down to a depth of 2cm.
  6. Step 6: Put a drop of wood glue in each hole in one of the long planks and drive dowel pins in here. Then put a drop of wood glue onto each dowel pin and attach the steps on top. Do the same with the other long plank.
  7. Step 7: Leave the presentation rack to dry on its side for 24 hours, laying something of weight to exert pressure.
  8. Step 8: Place your presentation rack where you want it, dressing it with nice stuff.
