How to make a decorative wooden wall heart for photos
Looking for an eye-catching decorative feature for your wall or an original gift for Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Christmas or a birthday? You could always buy something at a homeware and interiors store. Or you could make your own work of art! You’re sure to get a lot of nice remarks.
Step 1: Print or draw a heart on a large sheet of paper. Attach it to the hardboard with sticky tape to keep it in place. Now insert screws every 1,5 cm along the outline of the heart you have made. Take care to ensure they are all at the same depth.
Step 2: When all screws are in place, remove the paper. Now wind the wool or string around the screws in a crisscross pattern. Do this in a random way, but make sure you fill all the gaps. When the heart is complete, slide the wool or string towards the head of every screw to accentuate the pattern.
Step 3: Affix the photo clips around the board with fast-working glue. Choose your favourite photos and clip them in place.
