Constant heat control
As soon as your heat gun threatens to overheat internally, the main heating element will automatically switch off. Subsequently a fan will blow cool air into the heat gun cooling down the heating element. Overheating can occur when you, for example, have shut off an air outlet by mistake or when you have used a reduction nozzle with a small diameter.
Once the overheating situation is over, the heating element switches on automatically. Heat guns without this feature burn out or they’ll shut off constantly and need to be switch back on manually, which is annoying and frustrating.
